Purpose:

The Production/Creative Team Intern supports the technical and creative aspects of Passion Church’s worship services and events. This role assists with audio, video, lighting, and creative content production, helping to create impactful worship experiences that align with the church’s mission and vision. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic church environment while developing skills in media production, creative arts, and technical support.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Basic knowledge of audio, video, lighting, or graphic design is preferred.

• Experience with production equipment and software, such as ProPresenter, Adobe Creative Suite, or audio mixing boards, is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple creative tasks simultaneously.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and creative methods.

• Good communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Support Audio, Video, and Lighting Production:

  • Assist in the setup, operation, and teardown of audio, video, and lighting equipment for Sunday services and special events.

  • Work with the Production Team to ensure high-quality sound, visuals, and lighting that enhance the worship experience.

  • Assist with troubleshooting technical issues during services, ensuring a smooth and distraction-free environment.

• Creative Content Development:

  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to develop visual content, including graphics, videos, and social media materials, that align with the church’s message and branding.

  • Support the preparation and organization of media elements for services, such as worship slides, sermon notes, and announcements.

  • Help capture photo and video content during services and events for future use.

• Technical and Equipment Maintenance:

  • Assist in maintaining and organizing production and creative equipment, ensuring it is properly stored and in working condition.

  • Help with routine checks of audio-visual equipment and lighting systems to prevent technical issues.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with special projects and church-wide events that require creative and production support.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative campaigns and service elements.

• Provide support to other church ministries when needed, ensuring a consistent creative standard across all events and communications.
