Purpose:
The Sunday Experience Director ensures the seamless execution of all aspects of the Sunday worship experience. This role is responsible for overseeing the teams involved in creating an inviting, engaging, and spirit-filled environment that aligns with the church's vision. The director ensures that the worship service, hospitality, media, and other components come together to create a meaningful experience for attendees.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Proven experience in team leadership and volunteer coordination.

• Understanding of church worship services and the technical aspects involved (sound, lighting, media).

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously.

• Familiarity with planning software and service coordination tools.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all teams involved in the Sunday experience (worship, tech, hospitality, etc.).

• Collaborate with the Worship Pastor and Media Director to ensure smooth service flow.

• Lead team meetings to ensure clarity and alignment on service goals and execution.

• Coordinate with volunteers to ensure all roles are filled and prepared for Sunday services.

• Provide feedback and training to team members to enhance the overall experience.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute special events, ensuring the Sunday experience standards are upheld.

• Collaborate with other church departments for events that require support from the Sunday experience teams.
